Who we are / the studio
Built plumb,
level, and square.
Plumbline Practice is a grounded wellbeing studio that treats inner work like honest manual labor. We opened in 2017 with one belief: self-awareness is a skill you practice, not a mood you purchase.
Our footing / why we exist
No pastel spa fluff.
Most wellbeing brands sell you a feeling and a candle. We do the opposite. The studio looks like a workshop because the work is real: you show up, pick up a practice, and use it until it holds.
We publish what we practice. Every guide on this site is pressure-tested against primary sources before it goes on the wall, and updated when the facts move. Clarity is the whole product.
What we hold to
Four things we
refuse to fudge.
Repeatable
A practice that only works on a good day is decoration. We keep the ones that hold up tired, busy, and distracted.
Plain
No jargon sprayed on to sound deep. The answer goes up front, the way a foreman gives instructions.
Honest
We say what the research supports and where it stops. Self-awareness is a tool, not a promise of bliss.
Grounded
Inner work is labor. We treat your attention and your time as materials worth not wasting.
The small crew
A few people who
actually read your message.
Reuben Castile
Founder, lead facilitator
Spent a decade in trades training before turning the same hands-on rigor toward attention and self-awareness. Runs the floor and the morning check-ins.
Talia Mbraun
Practice design
Builds the protocols, prompts, and check-in sheets. If a practice cannot be repeated on a tired Tuesday, it does not ship.
Idris Kohl
Editorial and research
Writes the long reads and pressure-tests every claim against primary sources before it goes on the wall.
